Fly to Perpignan and discover the Pyrenees ski resorts

FROGBUS.com has launched a new low-cost ski transfer services from Perpignan Train Station & Perpignan Airport to the French ski resorts of Pyrenees 2000/Font Romeu and Les Angles. You can fly into Perpignan Airport with Ryanair from the UK.  The service from Perignan train station runs every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday during ski season, and will also pick up at Prades.  The service from Perpignan Airport runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday during ski season and co-incides with Ryanair Flights arrival/departure times. The cost is around 15euros each way dependent on your departure point.

If you’re looking for good, cost effective self catering accommodation try Perpignanfr.com (it’s a basic website but they are well established). They offer comfortable affordable luxury typically not found in many hotels, including fully equipped kitchens, modern bathrooms with a number of the apartments renovated in July 2009. Arriving in Perpignan on a Frogbus coach during November and December will earn you a 10% discount off the standard advertised rates.

As I write this, it appears the Frogbus haven’t quite got their act together to change a lot of the content on the website to reflect this new service. But hopefully it will appear soon so you can book online.
