Cairngorm Mountain open for business
The Scottish Cairngorm Mountain officially opened for snowsports today and according to their website, weather conditions were fabulous! ‘Dry, bright and sunny with a temperature of minus 2C and virtually no wind, a perfect suncream and shades day’!
From tomorrow (Saturday 5th December) they aim to open as much as possible, full ticket prices will apply as will normal winter opening hours of 9.00 till 4.00 and ski and board hire will be available. For full details go to http://www.cairngormmountain.co.uk/
Skiing, terrain park, snowboarding and sledging are all available at Cairngorm Mountain, subject to conditions. There are over 30km of ski runs and a fully maintained snow board fun park, suitable for all levels from beginner to expert. Cross Country, telemark, ski touring and ski mountaineering are also available from specialist operators. There is a recognised ski school that operates on site and Disability Snowsports UK also offer lessons for those with special needs.
