British Skiing in funding crisis

In an article published by BBC sport last night Chemmy Alcott told how she believes her chances of winning an alpine ski medal at next year’s Winter Olympics is being severly hampered by a lack of funding. SnowsportGB, the governing body for skiing and snowboarding in Britain, is £300,000 in debt, and with the start of the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver only months away this is a worrying time for a number of our snowsport athletes.
